  • Our address is 254 N Washington Street, Falls Church, VA 22046. See our location on Google Maps.

    We’re in the heart of downtown Falls Church – State Theater, The Center for Spiritual Enlightenment, Clare and Don’s Beach Shack, and Kaiser are some of our “Little City” neighbors. Approximately 5 miles away from the DC line, we are conveniently situated near Arlington, McLean, Reston, Great Falls, and exit 69 of Interstate 66. Our office is less than a mile from the East Falls Church Metro and easily accessible by bus (2A, 28A/Tysons).

    Free parking is available in the lot behind and adjacent to the office (turn onto Park Washington Ct. from N. Washington St.).

  • Ekoe was created with our own “framilies” and communities in mind. As a multiracial, multicultural, intergenerational, and interdisciplinary team – our providers and clients alike are diverse across the board. We work with folx of all ages and stages; racial and ethnic identities; genders and sexual orientations; spiritual and religious-affiliations – and we warmly welcome the multidimensionality of all people and families.

    The effects of marginalization and trauma are often what bring clients to ekoe. As such, a large portion of our community identifies as BIPOC, queer, neurodivergent, as well as survivors of personal and/or collective trauma. Embodied collective healing at its core is about affirming, healing, and liberating all of us.

  • Our team here at ekoe have a wide range of specialties and interests.

    A short list: trauma related conditions, depression, anxiety, life transitions, ADHD, school issues, grief and loss, chronic pain, relationship challenges; to name a few. For more physical concerns we can work with individuals who are struggling with GI, general wellness, and chronic pain.

    We see mental health and physical health as interconnected.

  • Individual Therapy: The primary goal of individual therapy is to increase understanding of one's thought and behavior patterns to help increase function and well-being. Through this, you can learn how to effectively manage stress, interpersonal difficulties and troubling situations.

    Family Therapy: This will focus on the family system as a whole, as opposed to focusing on one individual within the family. Our general aim here is to aid the family in understanding and welcoming their individual responsibility in the overall emotional performance of the family unit.

    Group Therapy: The fundamental goal of our group therapy sessions are to initiate a sense of belonging or relatability through understanding, which is achieved by sharing common experiences.

    Functional Nutrition: As a foundation of functional medicine, functional nutrition is a type of dietetics that is concerned with optimal physiological functioning of your cells. When your cells are nourished with the right foods, the root causes of your symptoms are addressed.

    Bioelectromagnetic engineering: Bio-electromagnetic program supports development of technologies using static or dynamic electromagnetic fields for sensing, imaging, or therapeutic effects.

  • There is a full charge for all missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice. We encourage you to reach out to your provider if you need to cancel.

  • Our mental health providers are out-of-network. We encourage clients to call their insurance company to see if their plan includes out-of-network benefits for mental health.

    We are considered an out-of-network provider. If your plan is a PPO and/or you can go out of network, most insurance companies will pay something for our services. This, of course, depends on the plan and the out-of-network deductible. We can provide you with a receipt that has all the necessary information if you want to file yourself for insurance reimbursement. If you feel that you must use an in-network provider, we are more than happy to provide referrals.

    If you have a session with Dr. Lynn, if you bring documentation from a Medical Doctor with a diagnosis and recommendation for Nutrition Therapy, we can supply superbills for out-of-network Nutrition Therapy. Without this documentation, appointments cannot be documented to the requirement for out-of-network insurance reimbursement.

    Wellness room appointments are not reimbursable by insurance.

  • Appointment frequency and treatment length vary client-to-client. The plan you and your provider(s) establish takes in At ekoe this plan is created collaboratively where you identify goals and timelines with your provider and discuss what is best for you.
