Open Healing Circle

Winter 2023 Season

The winter season is the coldest and darkest time of the year. In nature, living things tend to hibernate during the winter. Similarly, our bodies shift rhythms, slow down, and desire more sleep. However, whether it is snowflakes falling from the sky or a clear view of the starry sky, winter can also incite awe and wonder. This season, we will explore awe and wonder in relation to ourselves. We will notice the changes happening within our bodies and around us and energize ourselves to continue on our healing journeys.

In our winter series of Healing Circle, drop in as you are and take advantage of the open space that centers collective healing no matter where you are on your journey. For many of us, we already have accumulated stress, historic and systematic trauma, difficult relationships, and chronic disconnection getting in the way of recharging our bodies, don’t let time also get in the way. Come experience the power of ekoe as you learn, support, resource, and connect.

Rooted in embodied collective healing, Drs. Lomax & Leyton-Armakan use mindfulness practices, written reflection and group discussion, to bring these concepts to life. With shared expertise in psychological trauma, grief & loss, somatic practices, self-love & relational healing, Judie and Jen offer an affirming, safe, and psychoeducational group experience. The ekoe healing circle is a short-term virtual group open to all adults (18 y/o +) interested in generating more vitality and liberation of all people.
